Memphis Shouldn’t Be Alone

kansas

The King gave us a call today and brought up a great point. How is it that Memphis has to vacate their 2008 final four run because Derrick Rose was ineligible, but Kansas gets to keep their NCAA title? Darrell Arthur, a key member of Kansas team in 2008, had a grade changed while in high school to keep him eligible. His team had to forfeit their state championship win. If Arthur was ineligible in high school, how is it that the NCAA has not declared him ineligible forcing Kansas to vacate their title? Arthur qualified academically based on the changed grade. Defending Calipari has rarely been our cup, but this whole thing reeks.
