In case you missed it, Mississippi State got jobbed in the SEC Tournament. John Wall wasn't allowed to cross the three point line until the ball hits the rim on Eric Bledsoe's 2nd free throw. Clearly he crosses the line when Bledsoe releases the ball. A lane violation should have been called, giving the ball back to Mississippi State before Cousins tying shot.
Call it Kentucky bias or cosmic homeostasis for Bulldog fans calling Cousins cell with racial epithets before their regular season match-up. Either way, the missed call was the difference in State making the tourney or not. Tough break for Rick Stansbury and his team.

Man those where some good SEC refs. SEC refs and Jimmy Dykes are all UK homers. Granted this was not the same crew from yesterday but they could kind a bs flagrant foul on UT 2 weeks after it occurred but they can't see that Wall obviously made a lane violation. What a joke.
True about Wall, but what about #3 for State? He crosses the 3pt line before the ball hits the rim.
@kyriver - Wall was the first to commit the violation so it wouldn't matter that the State player did as well. Similar to the fact they don't call two fouls when two people foul a person on a shot in the lane.
I've never seen that called much like a coaching box violation. Before and during Bledsoe's free throw, Stansbury was standing out of the coaches box and near half court which "by the book" is a technical foul. Call that technical Bledsoe still gets his free throw plus UK gets to chose someone to shoot two more. Then UK gets the ball with 4.9 seconds left. If we're gonna pick out every missed call let's make sure we name them all. If Wall had run into the lane and slam dunked the winning goal your crying foul might be a bit more understandable. At some point other SEC fans (those who aren't UK fans) will have to admit that Kentucky is a very good basketball team.
I'm just saying, karma Mississippi State fans karma. lay off of the racist phone calls and maybe bad things won't happen to you
Yea, don't let those silly rules get in the way of a basketball game!
