College Football: Weekend Overreactions

  • Houston is the most fun team to watch in football. Did anyone else see the play with 6 freaking options? OSU’s defense just crapped their pants and let Casey Keenum throw a 30-yard pass.
  • Tennessee’s who we thought they were…before last week. We kind of feel bad for Jonathan Crompton. We feel even worse for the people we know that dropped 60 bucks to watch that piece of crap game. Can we change our prediction for Vols from 6-6 to 4-8?
  • Ohio State played admirably. The Buckeyes are one of the few teams that could have lost as much as they did and stayed with the Trojans.
  • Michigan is back. Loved hearing a national pundit that said Notre Dame was a BCS team last week call Michigan’s win tainted because of how weak the Irish were. We hope that Rich Rod asks Wolverine fans how his @$$ tastes.
  • Florida’s gonna drop 60 on UT. …and by 60, we mean 70.
  • Penn State might run the table. They get Iowa and Ohio State at home. They’ll have to lose to someone with inferior talent to not play for the BCS title.
  • John Currie does not like being the AD at K State. He gave septuagenarian Bill Snyder a 5-year contract extension 1 game into his return at the university. Snyder repaid him by losing to directional Louisiana.
  • Dave Clawson’s our hero. First Bowling Green rolls up Troy at home. They then come within moments of upsetting a ranked team on the road. Yeah, Knoxville media, it was Clawson that cost Fulmer his job…not the other way around.
