If I had to make my Bucket List right now, one sports related item on the list would be seeing two teams from the same conference playing for the BCS Title. Could you imagine the intensity of a Tennessee-Florida, Ohio State-Michigan, USC-UCLA or Texas-Oklahoma BCS Championship? This year looks like it could possibly happen as Florida and Alabama are both undefeated and are the two top teams in the first BCS Standings. The AJC's Tony Barnhardt thinks that this is a possibility with the huge gap that exists between these two teams and the rest of the BCS.
There is no way you can convince me that an undefeated Iowa team deserves to play for a championship over a one-loss Florida or Alabama if that loss is a close game in the SEC Championship. Boise State has a great win over Oregon, but the rest of their schedule is a joke.Virginia Tech's loss to Georgia Tech on Saturday made this scenario more possible now that contenders keep losing. The next thing that we need to happen is for Texas to lose to Oklahoma State on Halloween.
