Gary Danielson is a Freaking Soothsayer

Lost in all of the commotion caused by the gloom, despair, and agony of Daniel Lincoln’s blocked kicks was Gary Danielson’s warning after the kick actually made by Lincoln.

As soon as the kick went through the uprights, Danielson pointed out the low trajectory and wondered aloud if it may have any bearing on the game were it to happen again.

Sure as boobs are awesome, that was THE difference of the game. Hats off to Terrence Cody and co. for getting their hands up, but when a kick hits a 6 foot 5 man in the armpit, the problem lies with the kicker, not the protection

The Vols played their hearts out and left everything on the field, but the two FG attempts with low trajectories kept them from pulling off what would literally have been their biggest win of the century.
