Good News of the Day: Stafon Johnson Released From Hospital

USC has a BCS "playoff" game against Notre Dame on Saturday as  neither team can afford to lose another game if they want to make a good BCS bowl. The Trojans received good news on Wednesday as running back Stafon Johnson was released from the hospital after suffering a freak weightlifting incident earlier this season. Johnson accidentally dropped a weight bar on his neck, crushing his larynx and and throat. During a press conference today, Johnson wrote a message on a piece of paper that said, "Fight On! Beat the Irish." His mother read the message and you have to love a young kid with such a sense of humor. I was already leaning toward the Trojans in this game and now I expect the Trojans to win this game for their injured teammate.
