Unlike many people, I still thought Oklahoma had a chance to make the BCS National Championship after Sam Bradford injured his shoulder on Saturday. There is almost a team every year that makes the BCS National Championship while having at least one loss. Remember in 2007 when LSU won the national title while having two losses? Oklahoma still had a chance to climb the polls with wins over Miami, Texas and Oklahoma State. There was no talk of star tight end Jermaine Gresham possibly missing the season with his knee injury, but that is exactly what was announced on Tuesday. Gresham will miss the rest of the season and now Sam Bradford will not have a proven receiver when he comes back to the Sooners. Our pick of Oklahoma State as a surprise BCS team is looking better and better.
