Need we restate the obvious? We stand by our report. Nonetheless, Memphis coach Tommy West is calling our report that he is stepping down a “boldface lie” on a local Memphis radio show.
We received confirmation as recently as Friday that the deal is done, regardless of the denials. God bless Coach West and his family.
We have no doubt in his ability as a coach and commend him for the bravery that he showed in returning to the sideline given his medical history.
