On the Record: NFL Predictions

Steelers_Super_Bowl_43

  • AFC East:

Will: New England. No brainer here. Short of Brady going down again and Belichek getting H1N1, this is a lock.

Jamey: New England

  • AFC South:

Will: Indy. The Colts are going to have to pick it up on offense to carry the load for an undersized defense.

Jamey: Indy

  • AFC North:

Will: Pittsburgh. For once, the Steelers skill players are as good as their line play.

 Jamey: Pittsburgh

  • AFC West:

Will: San Diego. They’re healthy for the first time in a long time. LT goes for 1,500 yards and Rivers passes for close to 4,000.

Jamey: San Diego

  • AFC Wild Card:

Will: Jacksonville, Baltimore: No Titans for either of us. The division’s just too strong.

Jamey: Houston, Baltimore

  • AFC Championship:

Will: Chargers over the Pats. Bolts offense exploits Pats defense.

Jamey: Steelers over Chargers

  • NFC East:

Will: NY Giants. Best front 7 in the history of the game. If Eli finds anyone to throw to the Big Blue could run away with the best division in sports.

Jamey: Philly

  • NFC South:

Will: Saints. Even with the injuries, New Orleans has too much offensively. The defense will be better too.

Jamey: Atlanta.

  • NFC North:

Will: Minnesota. They won with Taveres Jackson at the helm last season. Favre only makes them better.

Jamey: Minnesota

  • NFC West:

Will: Seattle. It may all hinge on the health of Walter Jones and Matt Hasselbeck.

Jamey: Seattle.

  • NFC Wild Card:

Will: Philly, Carolina. Gut feeling that the Falcons will see a sophomore slump.

Jamey: Saints, Giants

  • NFC Title Game:

Will: Giants over Saints. Won’t be surprised if it’s an all East matchup with Philly joining NY.

Jamey: Falcons over Eagles

Super Bowl:

Will: Giants over Chargers. The running game and depth along lines of scrimmage will make the difference.

Jamey: Steelers over Falcons
