Top 5 Players We’d Pay to See: NBA Edition

With today being the #1 retail day of the year, we though that we would break down the top 5 players in each sport that we’d pay our semi-hard earned money to see.

1)   Lebron James: No brainer. He’s 6’8” 265 and runs like a PG. Lebron’s act becomes laborious at times, but his game only improves with each season. The best player in the world is only now entering his prime. It’s going to be fun to watch his maturation.

2)   Dwayne Wade: Kobe apologists will get ill here, but D-Wade has a second level of elevation when he goes up and does more with less around him than anyone else in the game. The Heat will probably make another early playoff exit, but they’d be a divisional bottom dweller if not for Wade’s dynamic offensive game.

3)   Chris Paul: 23 and 9, that’s why he’s rated this high. We wonder what kind of player he would be with another solid scoring option on the team. The Hornets are dangerous with him, and abysmal without him. There is no better passer in the game.

4)   Kobe Bryant: Maybe we devalue Bryant’s contribution due to the talent around him, that said Kobe’s jab-step is deadly, his defensive game underrated, and he’s as active without the ball as any superstar in any era. Kobe never stops working.

5)   Brandon Roy: He’s still figuring his game out, but the guy contributes in every area of the game. No player’s stat line in a box score varies more day-to-day.

  • I'd have to add Steve Nash to the list, as well as KG. Nash for obvious reasons, and KG cause his sun is quickly setting
