Top 5 Players We’d Pay to See: NFL Edition

With today being the #1 retail day of the year, we though that we would break down the top 5 players in each sport that we’d pay our semi-hard earned money to see.

1)    Drew Brees: The guy is a surgeon. With Brees under center, every receiving option on the field becomes a threat to score on every play. No one sees the entire field like Brees, and the Saints use that vision to power the game’s most dynamic offense.

2)   Donavan McNabb: As much as Philly fans may hate him, no one does more with less in the league. Once Brian Westbrook has his annual season ending injury, McNabb is his team’s only offensive threat and usually delivers. If he had had Manning or Brady’s WR’s he would have at least one ring by now.

3)   Peyton Manning: All the guy does is come to the line, make his reads, and calls the exact play that will succeed vs. the opponents defense. If everyone handles their responsibility, the play works.

4)   Chris Johnson: A threat to take it to the house every time he touches the ball. No other player is as dangerous when they turn the corner. As good of a receiver as he is a runner, Johnson’s only getting started.

5)   Brett Favre: Favre beats out teammate Adrian Peterson and Tom Brady because this is probably the last chance to see him.
