The Atlanta Braves traded first baseman Casey Kotchman to the Boston Red Sox for former Braves first baseman Adam LaRoche. Laroche is batting .248 with 13 home runs and 43 RBIs on the season while Kotchman is batting .282 with six homers and 41 RBIs. [ESPN]
