Chicago White Sox Trade for Jake Peavy

In another surprising deadline deal, the Chicago White Sox traded pitchers Aaron Poreda, Clayton Richard, Dexter Carter and Adam Russell to the San Diego Padres for pitcher Jake Peavy.  The former Padres ace has been on the disabled list since June 9 with an ankle injury and won the Cy Young Award in 2007.
