Brees vs. Peterson Gets Off to Great MVP Race

In our NFL predictions, Will West picked New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees as his choice for the NFL MVP and I picked Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson as the player that will wind up winning the NFL MVP. Both of our predictions look very good as Brees threw 358 yards and six touchdowns in the Saints' 45-27 win over the Detroit Lions and Peterson rushed for 180 yards and three touchdowns in the Vikings' 34-20 win over the Cleveland Browns. We will be shocked if a player wins the award that isn't one of these two players and both will end up having record-setting seasons.
