Les Miles to Replace Wade Phillips?

Les Miles Dallas Cowboys

For those of us that enjoy rooting against the Dallas Cowboys, this is an early Christmas present. According to FootballCoachScoop.com, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is interested in Les Miles replacing Wade Phillips. LSU's coach was tight ends coach with the Cowboys from 1998-2000. You would think that Jones would want Bill Cowher or Mike Shanahan, but Jones has a history of making dumb decisions. I have a hard time believing this rumor and the Dallas Morning News mentioned that Jones told people close to him that he would never hire another college coach.

Wade Phillips has no business being a head coach in the NFL, but this might be the one situation where I would rather keep Phillips as my coach over Miles. Cowboys fans should boycott games at the new stadium if this happens. This is an interesting rumor and I say Tiger Woods has a better chance of winning Husband of the Year than Miles has of being the next coach of the Cowboys.
