We already mentioned that Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb is expected to miss Week Two's game against the New Orleans Saints with a broken rib and now the Eagles are turning to an old friend to fill in for McNabb. The Eagles signed Jeff Garcia on Monday and Garcia was 5-1 with the Eagles in six starts in relief of Donovan McNabb in 2006. This signing means two things: The Eagles have no faith in backup quarterback Kevin Kolb and Michael Vick is not ready to be the starting quarterback once he is eligible to play Week Three.

Re: Jeff Garcia with the Phila. Eagles
I am so excited! It's the best decision Andy Reid could ever make. I can't wait to watch every single game....and I thought I'd never root for the Eagles again. What an awesome surprise. Now I even want to attend a game.
Great!!!!!
