Seymour Predicts Playoffs for Raiders in 2009

Oakland Raiders defensive end Richard Seymour dropped a bold prediction today on Two Deep Zone on 1530 Homer. The former New England Patriots defensive end predicts that the Raiders will make the playoffs this season. "You can mark it down," Seymour said.  "The Raiders will be in the playoffs in 2009." The Raiders are coming off a huge upset over the Philadelphia Eagles and are only one game back of the No. 6 seed in the AFC. The Raiders will not make the playoffs and this is just a veteran player trying to fire up his young players. Imagine how fast Norv Turner gets fired if the Raiders and Tom Cable finish ahead of the San Diego Chargers.
