Fulmers Craves Attention

Florida Tennessee Football

Former Tennessee coach Phillip Fulmer wants to coach next season and Fulmer is making sure that people don't forget his name. Fulmer spoke to the Daytona Beach Quarterback Club and said he is still PO'd about being fired by Tennessee. Nobody enjoys being fired, but Tennesee fans were PO'd about not winning a national title since 1998, the loss to Vanderbilt and the loss to Wyoming.

Fulmer needs to realize that it was time for him to move on from Tennessee as the SEC had passed him by. If these comments don't make Tennessee fans angry, then check out what Fulmer said about Urban Meyer: "Meyer's doing something that I did. You create something that's unachievable every year." Rule #1 if your name is Phillip Fulmer: Don't compare yourself to Urban Meyer. The second rule is don't talk about Fight Club.

  • Why don't you guys lay off Fulmer already. He is a great football coach and plenty of universities would be lucky to have him. Nobody smiles about being fired and there is nothing wrong with trying to promote yourself. Is that not what you fools are trying to do with this website? Do you crave attention? Why dont you concentrate on trying to get better at your little sports report on the radio. Jamie, you sound like an idiot who is trying to learn how to read for the first time. Seriously, you need some practice!

  • Fulmer is finished. It's sad, but he's done. You don't miss on Dave Clawson the way that he did and still "have it". God bless him and his family. He'll make a good broadcaster.
