UT Ticket Slump?

ESPN mentions Lane Kiffin’s name at least once per day. People daily call the station referencing all of the new enthusiasm around UT football. Yet, season tickets remain more than available for home games this year. Are Tennessee fans apathetic? Is it a wait and see approach after being burned last year? Is it the economy? Has UT gone the way of NASCAR and out priced the current market? With the required donation, non-renewable tickets are running about $60 per game. Just baffling. [UT Sports]

  • Take it from a Ticket broker of 15 years..there is absolutely NO DEMAND for VOLS TIX.
I have slashed inventories because of this season.
I think it has to do with the fulmer faithfuls who are still pissed off and the fact that we dont play anyone at home.

The prices have gone up every year and have reached the point of rediculousness

  • Most of the peeps I know are waiting to buy their tickets on gameday.....$60 a pop isn't bad for a couple of guys (pre-season), but try taking a family of four to a game.......it's cheaper to watch the games at home, especially now with the SEC Digital Network getting ready to roll out....just my 3 cent Canadian....
