Our guy Chip Kain has an interesting article on his new blog about a rumor that Tennessee quarterback Jonathan Crompton snubbed former Tennessee quarterback Peyton Manning when he was in Knoxville recently. The Indianapolis Colts quarterback supposedly sat down with Crompton and gave him advice, even though Crompton didn't act interested. Crompton even excused himself to use the restroom and never returned. If you combine this with how immature Gerald Jones has acted recently, it makes sense that Tennessee's team is struggling when their leaders are acting this immature.

If indeed Chip's report is true, no Vols fan should be surprised. It is not very hard to tell Mr Crompton's attitude both in his play and his interviews.
